Lived experience. A listening ear. Your next step.

I’m Amanda Barr, a breakup and divorce mentor based in Northern Ireland. I work online with adults around the world, offering a human space to pause, reflect and explore what comes next.

A human approach
to a difficult time.

I know the isolation and overwhelm that can follow the end of a relationship. Navigating my own divorce, while raising my children, made me feel strongly that nobody should have to face those questions alone.

My professional background is in Health and Social Care. I spent many years managing teams across different disciplines, particularly in learning disabilities. I championed people’s voices and their right to shape their own lives, and supported the people working alongside them.

Space to find your own answers.

My training includes breakup and divorce coaching, NLP, hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy. These inform my approach to listening, reflection and exploring patterns. We discuss what is appropriate for you; the starting point is always a conversation.

Hypnotherapy, NLP and Time Line Therapy are part of my background, rather than separate services to book here. I am currently welcoming introduction calls, so we can meet and talk about your circumstances before considering any next steps.

Mentoring does not replace medical care, psychotherapy or independent legal and financial advice. We can discuss its boundaries and whether another kind of support would be more appropriate.

Beyond the conversation.

Away from work, I am a mum of two young men, an Irish dancer and a lover of fresh air. You might find me exploring the coast or taking my campervan, the Freedom Wagon, out on the road. Honesty, transparency and integrity matter to me in every part of life.

You don’t need the right words. Just a place to start.

A free 15-minute conversation. A chance to meet, ask questions and see how it feels.
